To keep your benchtop germ-free, all you need to do is keep it clean. Always wipe it down after you’ve been preparing or serving food.
Sprinkle over some bicarb or spray with a general purpose cleaner, followed by a good all-over wipe with a hot cloth to keep your benchtop sparkling fresh.
If your benchtop is unsealed marble, you’ll need to take extra care because the surface is porous. Never use vinegar on marble surfaces, as it is acidic and can deteriorate them.
