Shower screens get pretty grubby after a while, so to avoid unmanageable build up try and give it a clean at least once a week. It sounds like hard work we know, but you’ll be thankful in the long run.
Give a section of the glass a good spray with a glass cleaner. There are several in the supermarket that are made just for showers.
Using a soft cloth use a circular motion to clean and wipe the glass. Once you’re done, spray the next area of glass and repeat.
It's always nice to rinse the glass with clean water afterwards, but not essential, especially during water restrictions.
Once you've done the glass, give the taps and shower fitting a spray with a cleaning product, then give them a firm wipe using a twisting action to catch all the dirt.
Last but not least is the floor of the shower. Although you probably can’t see it, soap scum builds up on tiles.
Give the tiles a spray, sprinkle or drizzle with a suitable product, leave for a few minutes and give a good scrub with a gentle abrasive sponge or cleaning pad. Don’t forget to rinse.
Vileda has a new cleaning tool for the shower and bath called Bath Magic, designed for effortless cleaning without bending or stretching. This can be used on most surfaces in the bathroom.
