Kept in good condition, polished concrete makes for a dramatic flooring material. It should be swept or vacuumed at least once a week.
Your concrete should also be given a regular clean. The Vileda SuperMop range will make short work of this - whether it's the microfibre pus mop for professional strength, or the super absorbent soft mop for everyday spills.
Any stubborn marks or dirt build ups can be removed with a sprinkle of bicarb, a damp cloth and a spot of elbow grease.
Most floor cleaners are suitable for concrete and tiled floors. However if you have ceramic tiles, don't use a soap solution as it will dull the surface with a thin layer of scum.
For best results, you'll also need to clean the grout between the tiles every now and again. The best way to do this is to use a non-scratch scourer or old nail brush, which you can run between the tiles using your foot.
